Its cheerful blue finish brightens the kitchen, and the familiar Italian shape makes brewing simple enough to do half asleep. Fill, assemble, heat and pour, and the rich aroma alone will get your morning started, whether at home or in the office.
Food-Grade Aluminum Alloy for Fast, Even Heating
The pot is made from food-grade aluminum alloy, which conducts heat quickly and evenly so water reaches brewing temperature fast. A single valve design builds steam pressure in the base and pushes hot water up through the grounds for pressure extraction that produces a rich, espresso-style brew. The handle is ABS with stainless steel fittings for a secure grip. Two sizes are available: the 150 ml (5.1 fl oz) pot makes one to three small cups and stands 5.9 in (15 cm) tall by 3.5 in (8.8 cm) wide, while the 300 ml (10.1 fl oz) pot makes three to six cups and stands 7.5 in (19 cm) tall by 3.9 in (9.8 cm) wide. Both suit home kitchens and office breakrooms with a gas or electric hob. Aluminum is not magnetic, so on an induction cooktop you will need an adapter plate.
